Break into groups of 4-5.
Your goal is to design a product that fulfills an entertainment need. It can be any type pf product as long as it is not a product already in existance.
It should be something you think people will want to buy, play, or own.
1. Design your product. Include the name of your product, a paragraph description, and the materials needed. (10 points)
2. Create a brochure for your project. It can be a whole page, a two fold, or 3 fold page. The goal is to make your product look/sound appealing. It should make viewers want to invest in your product. you can include a product description, testimonials, or whatever else you want. Remember, the more creative, the better. (Due Wed, Oct 29) (25 points)
3. Create a mock-up (model) of your product. It should give potential investors a good idea of what your finished product will be. Again, the more creative and neat it is, the more points you'll get. (Due Wed, Nov 5) (40 points)
4. Present your product to the class. You will have 2-5 minutes to pitch your product to the class, using your model, pasing around the brochure, and being a good salesman/woman.
5. Each student will have $500 to invest in stocks of OTHER groups' companies. Each stock is $50. You can buy all from one, or from many.
We will be using your companies, products, and stocks in many activities related to many of the chapters in the book. Make sure that your group is happy with their product because you will not be able to change it after the model due date.
